It's the end of an era.
After 11 brilliant years, I've decided with the loss of my wonderful husband, Ian in April to call it a day and I'm finishing up.
I'm so thankful to finish on a high, with
Jacob passing yesterday and the lovely gifts and card I received from him today- thank you, it really is appreciated.
It's been a rollercoaster of an adventure, from going from a Class 1 HGV driver and driver trainer to retraining and suddenly being responsible for running my own business.
Starting off with 2 years with the AA which included 3 broken "Eco Boom" cars parked on my drive for months on end, and realising within the first 3 months I'd made a huge mistake in getting tied in to an insanely expensive contract.Thankfully I managed to escape the crazy franchise and spent several happy years with M4 Motoring and finally going it alone 2 years ago.
The help and support from local instructors has been amazing and many good friends have been made.
But the stars of the show have been all my wonderful pupils over the years, I couldn't have done it without you.
Right now,I have no idea what the future holds, this certainly wasn't in our game plan. I may do a little bit more with my honey hobby, or I might finish that up as well,I have no idea.
The only thing on the horizon at the moment is a teeny little camper van I'm having converted.
Ian and I had planned to both finish work in 5 years time, get a motor home and travel.
Mr Pickle and I will have to do all those adventures ourselves now,so who knows what will happen next?
All I know is that I've been incredibly blessed to have had a brilliant time, thanks all.
