We are a scooterist run business catering in both traditional and auto scooters. We specialise in the sale of Classic Lambretta and Vespa scooters and performance tuning and selling of Lambretta and Vespa Scooter Parts & Accessories. LAMBRETTA LI150 SERIES 2 1960 100% italian scooter- original UK scoot from 1960s dealer "Humming Bird Motorcycles"

For Sale LAMBRETTA LI150 SERIES 2 1960 100% italian scooter for restoration.

Starts and drives really nice, all lights and horn work. This is a cracking patina scooter and has a cracking period seat. Ideally, the bodywork could be left as is and just mechanicals upgraded if you wanted. This is an original UK bike by the look of it as it has the original dealer badge from "Humming Bird Motorcycles- Borehamwood" still riveted to the horncast and MPH speedo. You can see the remnants of the curved number plates on the front mudguard but the scoot has no registration number or V5- it maybe possible to trace the original reg via the frame number if the original local authority records exist. Besides that the scoot will come with NOVA ref and Date cert for easy UK registration at the DVLA.

For Sale Lovely, Original UK registered 1959 Lambretta Li150 frame breather. The scooter has a great 5 digit plate “153 NG”- this would have originally been issued in Norwich by Norfolk County Council in March/April 1959 and has been with the scoot since issue.

A cracker of a scooter that’s been in regular use all it’s life and certainly over the last 25 odd years by the current owner. It’s also MOT and Road Tax exempt as its a historic vehicle.

The scooter starts, runs and drives through the gears really nice- Every thing else, lights etc works as they should- horn works but the horn button needs looking at- easy fix. The scooter was hammerite painted at some point in its life, a long time ago by the looks of it, so the red and white paint have a textured surface- this has protected the scooter body work and also adds to the patina of the scooter though and was done well at the time. The scooter is well used and has no major dents or bodywork issues.

As mentioned comes with a cracker of a registration and a few other additions including nice rear rack for the spare wheel, stadium kick out mirror and original Carello headlight rim and lense giving it a nice time warp look.
