Our essential detail mobile service has increased from £60 to £65, this is mainly due to the fuel price, seams to go up but hardly even comes back down.

But if you are one of our regular customers on a regular booking, the price will remain the same as you have already been paying, just as a thankyou for the support.

Jaguar XKR in the studio for full underbody protection & a brake caliper refresh. 🐆

The underbody:

Wheels off, arch liners out where possible, then a full deep clean and dry before going up on the ramp. Pre-rust treatment applied, Lanoguard Moto Grease worked into weld seams and sharp edges, then a full spray application over the lot. Left 24 hours for the initial cure.

The calipers:
Sanded back, primed, painted in caldera red, decals applied, then sealed with a high-temp acrylic lacquer to keep them looking fresh.

Topped off with a essential exterior clean

Just under two weeks ago I had to put my van on very light duties, and had to cancel majority of mobile jobs, unfortunately it developed a very bad leak and kept on conking out, I did plan to do an engine swap, but not for about another month.

Anyway a few days stress and some planning as pretty much wanted the engine out of one on one day, and engine out of mine and swapped on another day, was a bit of speculation but managed to get it sorted.

Not without help I might add.

And a Massive thankyou to the guys at Mark Coburn Vehicle Repairs for the advice, help and tool borrowing, especially Tony who stayed behind after work and got the engine back in and running 🙏

Now back on the road and will be in contact with anyone that I haven’t got back to to book back in.
