The chassis work has come a long way, so now we’re moving onto the body.

Part 4 of the build sees us starting to fabricate the body kit for the Datsun, shaping everything to work with the new chassis and running gear.

This Mini John Cooper Works came in for a couple of subtle but effective changes.
We removed the front fog lights to clean up the front end and replaced the standard steering wheel with an Alcantara wheel for a more premium, driver-focused feel.

This Golf R32 came in for a timing chain replacement. A big job that meant removing the engine and separating the gearbox to gain access.

While everything was apart, it made sense to take care of a few other items at the same time.

Along with the new timing chains, we fitted:
✔️ New clutch kit
✔️ New radiator
✔️ A handful of preventative maintenance parts to help keep the car reliable for years to come.

It’s always worth tackling these jobs while access is there, saving time and money further down the line.

This Porsche 911 Carrera 4 came in ahead of its next track day for a few upgrades and checks.
We fitted a set of harnesses, lined up the front towing eye by removing and adjusting the front bumper, corrected a misaligned bumper iron, and secured a loose heat shield that had been causing a rattle.
A few small jobs that make a big difference, giving the customer confidence before heading out on track.

Project Sunny | Part 3
This build is moving on nicely now.

Since the last update, we’ve completed the front wheel arch, fabricated the front suspension mounting points and made major progress on the bulkhead and floor pan.
The floor is nearly finished, with just the section around the exhaust silencer left to complete.
You’ll spot some yellow paint throughout the build. That’s not the final colour, it’s anti-corrosion etch primer protecting the fresh metal while fabrication continues.

The vision is starting to come together. 🔥

BMW M2 Competition: Exhaust Upgrade
This BMW M2 Competition came in for a customer-supplied Milltek 🇬🇧 cat-back exhaust system.
The original exhaust was removed and the new Milltek system fitted, giving the car a much louder sound to match its performance.
Safe to say the customer left happy with this one.

What a day at Track Silverstone 2026 event!
The Beaztt was out doing exactly what it was built for, putting in demonstration laps at Silverstone and putting on a show despite it being a bit of damp day!

It was great to catch up with fellow enthusiasts and some familiar faces from across the car community.
The atmosphere was incredible and the standard of machinery on display was something else.

A huge thank you to the team at Gassed On Track for the invitation and for putting on another fantastic event.
