We are able to carry out service work in accordance with manufactures guidelines, meaning you pay a fraction of the cost, using OEM parts and retaining your vehicles warranty.

After pouring our hearts and souls in to this wonderful business, Helen and Farshad have finally retired and passed over the Katherine’s Florists’ mantle.

54 years of extreme hard work, dedication, resilience, love and care from the family has transformed what started out as a stall in the Grainger Market into a successful local business which has become a NE institution and part of the fabric of the city. It hasn’t been easy but it has certainly been worth it and we are proud of the legacy that we are leaving behind. A legacy that all started with Katherine herself in 1970. She was a truly unique, formidable, forward thinking business woman supported and encouraged by her devoted husband, Ernest - her backbone.

We would like to take this chance to thank all of our amazing customers that have supported us over the years and made it all so worth it. We couldn’t be prouder to serve you all in this wonderful city.

And to our outstanding, loyal, talented, hard working staff - past and present - and some of whom have been on this journey with us from the beginning…we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You’ve felt the highs and lows with us and kept us going through it all. We couldn’t have done it without you.

We are thrilled to say that this local family business is being taken over by the extremely capable, award winning, hands of Jen and Blair Hutchinson (part of the team behind Jones and Jones Florists). They are exceptional florists who emulate the same family values and dedication. We wish them every success and we can’t wait to see what they do with KF - we’ll be their biggest supporters.

A tragic update to share this evening – a body has sadly been found in the search for missing teenager Reagan Brown.

Reagan, 19, from Hexham, was first reported missing from the Leazes Park area of Newcastle city centre on Monday evening.

Extensive enquiries were carried out with support from partner agencies to locate her. However, sadly a body was found in Leazes Park this afternoon.

Formal identification is yet to take place but Reagan’s next of kin have been notified and are currently being supported by specially-trained officers.

💙 Our thoughts are with Reagan’s loved ones at this difficult time, and we would ask they are given privacy as they attempt to process this sad news.

We'd like to thank those who helped with the search, as well as everyone who shared our appeal and provided information. Your support does not go unnoticed.
