Did you know...... There is a National Pothole Day every January!!
According to research one Breakdown Company attended over 600,000 pot hole related breakdowns last year 😲
Apparently the word 'Pothole' comes from the 15th/16th Century where pottery makers (hence the 'pot') were after a cheap source of raw material, so would dig deep into the ruts made by coach and wagon wheels to reach the clay deposits underneath...
If you do happen to find an unavoidable pothole, it is important to have your car checked over to make sure there has been no damage caused.....
You should also report the pothole to the relevant Local Council
