I couldn’t recommend my instructor Steph enough, she made the process feel so comfortable. It is without a doubt credit to her skill as an instructor that I passed first time with 0 faults. She explained everything very clearly, had helpful instructions and ways of remembering things and as a result I felt confident and prepared ahead of my test. She was able to answer any question I had no matter how big or small and made every part of learning enjoyable.

Asides from being a brilliant instructor, she was kind and compassionate and made lessons feel fun and exciting. I will miss our lessons together, but I know she helped me become a safe and confident driver."

Well done Becca Lane on passing your driving test in a very cold Swindon today. It was Becca's second test, the first test also in Swindon, an area that neither myself or Becca are familiar with. First lesson of the year. A proud mum videoed her daughter's drive home. Well done Frankie on your first lesson, the day after your 17th birthday.

You managed moving off and stopping, left and right turns on and out of side roads, hill starts and roundabouts. Not bad for a first driving lesson 👍🏻😊🚘👍🏻😊🚘

"I can't recommend Cathy highly enough. When I started, I never imagined I'd pass my test on the first try. I'm a nervous driver and was very reluctant to get behind the wheel. Cathy was exactly the instructor I needed. She is incredibly patient and has a great sense of humour that immediately made me feel more comfortable and confident. She always took the time to explain things clearly and never made me feel silly for needing to recap the same thing over and over. Pass Plus is a practical training scheme designed to help newly qualified drivers gain experience and confidence once they have passed their UK driving test. While passing the test confirms that a driver meets the minimum legal standard, many new drivers feel unsure when driving alone or in unfamiliar situations. Pass Plus bridges this gap by focusing on real-world driving experience rather than test preparation.

The scheme consists of a series of practical driving sessions with an Approved Driving Instructor. There is no exam at the end; instead, drivers are assessed throughout the course. Training typically covers six key areas: town driving, all weather driving, rural roads, night driving, dual carriageways and motorways. These are situations that many learners have limited exposure to before their test, particularly motorways, which new drivers may find intimidating.

Having previously not being successful due to missing a speed limit sign we worked on scanning our eyes more to see all the information ahead of you.
