**Location:** ELK Motorsport Karting Track, Opposite Newark Showground

**Job Description:**

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Front-of-House Member to join our team at ELK Motorsport Karting Track. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional experience while ensuring the smooth operation of our karting facility.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet and assist customers as they arrive at the karting track.
- Provide information on our karting services, pricing, and safety protocols.
- Handle bookings and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Assist with the setup and coordination of events and races.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications:**

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for motorsports and customer service.
- Previous experience in a front-of-house or customer service role is a plus.
- Must be available to work weekends.

This is a weekend position minimum wage & above for the right person.

Position Overview:
As a Go-Kart Track Team Member, you will be a vital part of ensuring the smooth operation of our track and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for greeting customers, providing safety instructions, overseeing track activity, and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our go-karts and equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive first impression
- Monitor and control track activity, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Provide instructions and tips to customers on operating go-karts safely
- Assist with customers' questions, concerns, and special requests
- Conduct safety inspections on go-karts, helmets, and other equipment
- Coordinate with other team members to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facility
- Ensure a safe and engaging experience for all customers
- Perform minor maintenance on go-karts and track under supervision
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system as needed

Requirements:
- Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years or older
- Prior experience in a customer service or amusement park environment is a plus
