🚗 Another Lucky Escape at AM Autos! 🚗

This Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI came into the workshop after the water pump failed, causing the timing belt to fail.

The customer was extremely lucky—despite the timing belt failure, there was NO engine damage. No bent valves, no damaged pistons… just a very fortunate outcome!

We’ve now fitted:
✅ New timing belt kit
✅ New water pump
✅ Fresh coolant
✅ Car checked over and back on the road safely

This is a great reminder that the water pump is just as important as the timing belt. A worn or failing pump can lead to a timing belt failure, which on most engines can result in thousands of pounds worth of engine repairs.
