Previously some later versions of the Bosch MD1CS003 ecu fitted to many 1.5ltr PSA, Fiat and even Toyota, vehicles have not been able to be tuned due to being locked, however these can now be tuned even though the ECU does have to be removed and sent away to be unlocked and upon return it can be tuned to suit your requirements. Not all Aircon regas jobs are straight forward, here’s one from today having to use old school techniques by manually weighing the refrigerant in using scales and adding oil manually. Just because there was a lack of access to the vehicle doesn’t mean it can’t be done, no automatic procedure from the machine, just a case of back to basics. Job done on to the next. 👊

Just because your aircon doesn’t work it doesn’t mean a regas will fix it, there can be other underlying faults causing it not to work such as component failure, electrical wiring faults, electrical sensors, and then amongst other things it could be down to having no refrigerant due to it escaping because of a leak, in which case we carry out a pressure test to check for leaks.
