Mitsubishi engine removal.

After some discussions with the customer of this evo he decided to take my advice and overall opinion on what was wrong with his motor on-board! His engine is now fully removed and torn down exposing the true nature of the situation. Everything was as i anticipated and envisioned! Luckily for him this is a perfect platform for a very straight forward refresh with forged internals going back in 🏁

Ready for customer viewing ✅️

MITSUBISHI EVO IN FOR HEALTH CHECK

Customer contacted me regarding concerns about the health of his vehicle. Complaints of irregular running quality on first start up and under hard load! I agreed to have a look for him and conduct some very basic tests!

Credit to him the vehicle was well looked after and clearly not abused. Tastefully modded with nothing to crazy consisting of uprated hardware/software combination.

Unfortunately during inspection we found that the motor even though was running nice with no smoke or major tell tail signs was showing cylinder health degradation with all cylinders down! Some other minor issues resolved during the examination but im sorry to say this engine needs a re fresh.

New year! New start! New workshop!

Returning customer with a very rare example now not many left on our uk roads i belive barely any! Chris brought me this in the summer time and i fitted the link stand alone ecu unit and toyota coils. He purchased the car with the engine already forged with big turbo setup. Originally we did have big plans for this against the 550hp astra gsi i had built him planing to go close to twice the power with this one! Unfortunately plans have changed as they do and this will be off to its new home pretty shortly 😢

Big brembo brake kit fitted with custom elysium motorsport cnc brackets✅️

630cc injectors fitted to replace the tired outdated old set✅️

Suspension all round replaced with new bottom arms✅️

New idle control valve fitted✅️

Some wiring addressed✅️

This will be collected by the customer i believe maybe next week and replaced with his other project where we will be replacing body and chassis parts before we address the engine. Always a pleasure to work with! Thanks chris. Christopher Rice
