Advise for anyone selling a car!
Keep an eye on what they are doing as there are a lot of con men out there.
I currently have a van for sale and some people came to view it today, while I was getting the service book out of the office one of the men poured old engine oil in the coolant bottle and tried to claim the head was cracked and the engine needed rebuilding. I had already checked the water earlier and it was clear.
They then tried to say they would still buy it but at a fraction of the price. This is a common trick so don't be fooled!
Luckily I'm in the trade so just said I know there was nothing wrong with it and wouldn't be selling it to them and asked them to leave
