Quite a big job I did a year or so ago on an mg tf convertible. A 21 year old car which had very low miles from new but required some long overdue maintenance and jobs required for the mot test.
Engine work, timing belt kit, water pump, thermostat, full service, new clutch kit and hydraulics, new front subframe ,shock absorbers and some welding required to the floor and a couple of other areas. Also treated the underside with protective under body sealant. Motd and back on the road to enjoy sunny days like today.

2009 Renault clio van 1.5 dci timing belt and water pump replaced 👍

Vw polo 1.2, 3 cylinder, 12 valve engine which had a worn timing chain and unfortunately jumped the valve timing which caused the valves to hit the pistons and bending all 6 inlet valves. This required cylinder head removal and sent for repair to have new valves and valve guides replaced including a pressure test and skim. All refitted with new gaskets, bolts, a new timing chain kit and fresh oil and filter and coolant . All back together running and sounding good

A 2016 Mercedes c class for new rear brake pads. The customer was quoted 250 pounds from the main dealer and I completed the job including supplying the parts for just under 100 pounds.

Not a good start to the day this morning when my ramp was stuck in mid air with a car on it. Managed to suss out the problem and get it working again with out too much of a head ache. phew!!

Various jobs done this week -
Renault clio wheel bearing
Vauxhall insignia for a full service including timing belt kit, new water pump and coolant change
Nissan primestar van for new clutch kit
Mercedes e220 for a full service, auto gearbox oil and filter change and new sump gasket due to oil leak
2 winter tyres supplied and fitted on a Renault clio
A rattle on the front of a vauxhall mokka which required new brake pad shims fitted
And a 2.8vr6 engine from a mk2 golf on the table ready for cylinder head removal to be reconditioned, a good clean up and new timing chain, guides and tensioner to be replaced amongst other things

Tidy little 2004 clio 182 with only 62,000 miles on the clock for a service and some other repairs - exhaust blowing, abs kicking in intermittently, and a leaky rear shock absorber

Off with the rusty old seized axle and on with a shiny reconditioned one on this Peugeot 206
Handling a lot better now 👍
