Massive congratulations to Charlotte Ross who passed her driving test in Arbroath today at the first attempt with only 3 driving faults 👏

We’ve only had 14 lessons together, but you approached every single one keen to learn, ask loads of questions, and master those parking manoeuvres 😂

A big shout-out and thank you also has to go to Mum for taking you out in your own car before we started lessons and in between them. Teamwork makes the dream work 💪🏻

I’ve loved our Saturday morning catch-ups and will definitely miss hearing about your weekly near-death experiences 😂, but I know you’ll be a brilliantly safe driver going forward.

Thank you for being such a great pupil. I’ll keep an eye out for your car and its awesome registration plate 🚽😂

Congratulations to Kayleigh who passed her driving test first time today, on a busy Friday afternoon.

Despite those nervous this week and self doubt creeping in we worked through it and you nailed it today.

Great anticipation and planning but once we worked out that if we slow down you have better car control I knew you would be fine.

It’s been a pleasure teaching you over the last year and I’ll miss your pigeon chat and videos every Tuesday.

Hope the car of your dreams works out and I look forward to seeing you driving about those country roads at a safe speed!!

Massive congratulations to Ellie who passed her test today with only two faults (always gonna be at least one for parking 😉).

Those two-hour lessons were intense, but you approached every lesson keen to learn and never made the same mistake twice… despite sometimes only having a few hours’ sleep 😂

I knew when you drove into the Starbucks drive-thru, got your window down, and stopped close to the speaker that you were going to be a great driver.

Thank you for your approach to each lesson, and they were always good fun.

Have fun driving to Glasgow and enjoy it!!

Huge congratulations to camera-shy Alana, who passed her test today with only 2 driving faults 👏

And possibly the best forward bay park I’ve ever seen… even though it wasn’t part of the test 😂

It’s been a roller coaster! I remember those first few lessons when you never thought you’d ever be able to drive, but we worked hard and turned you into a super safe driver 🚗💨

You’re officially the best sausage dog spotter I’ve ever taught — and somehow it never impacted your driving, which is impressive 😂🐶

Hopefully now you can drive Steven around Dundee looking at all the nice houses you want to buy

I’ve seen you grow into an amazing driver, and I know you’ll always check your mirrors forever thanks to the “Alana Safety Feature” 👀😂

Thanks for all the laughs… and the dog treats from the USA 🇺🇸🐶

Congratulations to Kelsey Carr who passed her driving test on Sunday with only 2 driving faults.

Superb drive with great feedback from the examiner - sounds like you both became mates by the end 😂

It’s been a fun journey and once we nailed that theory test we were always gonna find the practical test much easier 😉

We’ve shared Italian trip tips, roller coaster chat, farm animal trips and loads of looking for big “floofer” dogs on our drive around the streets of Dundee 🐶

You’ve been a superb pupil - always turning up to each lesson keen to learn and become a safe driver.

Can’t wait to see what car you get and I hope DDE was a massive celebration with your friends.

Massive congratulations to Lucy Kerr who passed her driving test in Aberdeen today due to the lack of tests in Dundee.

Lucy used her own car to get the 8am test so it was an early start but she nailed it 💪🏻

It’s been a pleasure to help you get to this point and once we finally sorted those mirror checks and how much easier things are if we drive slightly slower you’ve been superb.

I’ll miss our Tuesday catchups but not the ninewells parking and good luck in the new job 👍

Massive congratulations to Gabrielle Forbes who passed her driving test today on the first attempt with only 1 driving fault.

What a journey we have been on and we’ve seen it all but dealing with a dead animal on the road and then the unhelpful bin lorry during a test… what a star!!

We’ve had some good laughs, but those lessons when we worked on your step by step manoeuvres guide was a real highlight for me and your approach to every lesson has been superb. Always keen to learn, never to hard on yourself when you made a mistake and all with a smile on your face.

My Wednesday mornings will never be the same again.

Sorry I forgot to take the “legally required pass photo” but luckily your mum Laura Anderson was waiting at the test centre to get our picture 😂

Well done and can’t wait to see you at Popeyes in your car

🚗🎉 First Time Pass 🎉🚗

Congratulations to Mya Meechan who passed her test first time this morning in Dundee.

It’s a massive challenge to pass your test after only starting lessons in December but you’ve approached every lesson keen to learn and get better.

It’s been a very animal based learning journey… check the dinosaurs, is there an elephant around this corner and obviously lots of dog chat 😂

The fake tan lesson will stay with me forever 😳 😂

It’s been a pleasure to help you achieve this today and big shoutout to Mum and Gerry for also helping you inbetween lesson.

🚗 Important Driving Test Booking Changes Coming Soon 🚗

If you're learning to drive, there are some big changes to how you book and manage your driving test:

🛑 From 31 March 2026
Learners will only be able to change their test twice (instead of six times).

🛑 From 12 May 2026
Only you, the learner, can book or change your car driving test.
Instructors and third‑party “cancellation changer” services won’t be allowed to do this anymore.
You’ll also have to confirm that:
• You’re booking your own test
• You agree to the new rules

🛑 From 9 June 2026
You’ll only be able to move your test to one of the three closest test centres to where your test is already booked.

For those of you booked in Dundee you will only be able to change your test to Arbroath, Forfar or Perth.
