Not every workshop provides a detailed service sheet, but every trailer serviced by us receives a comprehensive written record showing exactly what has been inspected, serviced, adjusted, lubricated, repaired or replaced.

My service sheet records important information including:

✅ Trailer make, model, serial number and axle details
✅ Tyre age, size, pressure, tread depth and condition
✅ Correct torque settings throughout the trailer
✅ Brake condition, cleaning and adjustment
✅ Brake cables, bearings, hubs and suspension
✅ Hitch, damper and breakaway cable
✅ Chassis, floor, bodywork and fittings
✅ Lights, wiring and electrical components
✅ Parts repaired or replaced
✅ Any defects, recommendations or advisories

All of this information is compiled into a professional service sheet, kept securely on record for future reference and sent directly to the customer as a PDF document.

This provides a valuable maintenance history for the trailer, allows previous findings to be checked at future services and gives the owner clear evidence that the work has been completed properly. It can also be useful when managing a fleet or selling the trailer in the future.

I believe customers deserve complete transparency—not simply being told their trailer has been serviced, but receiving documented evidence of exactly what has been checked and completed.

It’s not just a service, it’s a thorough, professional and fully documented inspection where every detail matters.

👋 A Little Bit About Me and My Business…

For anyone who’s new to the page, I’m Ben Owen, the face behind Ben Owen Services Ltd.

I’m 40 years old, born and raised in Minera, and a proud Welsh rugby fan. I’ve grown up in and around the North Wales haulage industry, so trucks, trailers and machinery have always been a big part of my life. I still get behind the wheel now and again for C&M Transport, and I hold every UK driving licence category for vehicles on the road.

I provide professional trailer servicing, repairs, maintenance and sales, alongside LOLER examinations, plant inspections and certification. Although I specialise in Ifor Williams trailers, I work on all makes and types of trailers, using genuine parts wherever possible.

I’ve built my business through hard work, experience and treating every customer as I’d want to be treated. I’ll always give you an honest assessment, explain what work genuinely needs doing and never try to sell you something you don’t need.

Whether I’m looking after a small domestic trailer, horse trailer, agricultural equipment or commercial plant, every job receives the same care and attention. Your safety, livelihood and trust genuinely matter to me.
