As we have entered the New Year, 2023 marks a big milestone for our small family business, King & Meakins!
Established in 1973, we are proud to have reached 50 YEARS of business! Everyone that has worked here, past and present, has given their all to provide the best service and care in both our retail shop and the garage.
We would like to thank all customers, private and business, past and present for your custom over the years. Your support has got us to this milestone. Some customers are local, and we even have a few that come from afar. We serve generations of families which is lovely. We can even drive up many of the local streets in Wolverton and spot dozens of customers cars in every street and realise you're all relatively close neighbours.
Almost all of our customers over the last 50 years have come from word of mouth. Quite simply, King and Meakins has been built on providing a good honest job.
The rest comes from you guys, our customers, recommending us, telling your friends, families or neighbours.
Over the last 50 years, a lot of things have changed, cars change, they evolve constantly. There's constant challenges, with retail evolving over the years, and a few recessions thrown in between 1973 - 2023 and we have to constantly adapt as a business and learn. As Richard King would always say, 'You never stop learning.'
We wish to continue serving all our customers wether it be in our retail shop or looking after your vehicle in our garage for many more years to come!
