Sell out tour yesterday evening, the sun was shining and so were all our guests! So many fresh haircuts and shorts 🩳 yesterday, definitely a summer’s evening.

Mr Paul Digby was early doors again, we found him wiping his car down as we arrived, he was definitely entering the show and shine competition 😎

Vern followed in shortly afterwards and then our Super Star Michael sporting brand new legs 🦵, no hat and a Hawaiian shirt 👕 hot catalogue senior model 😎

B&W was sunbathing in his pickup before entry to the ring, we have noticed this to be the more frequent occurrence - chill for 10 minutes and then make your entrance.

Jay soon turned up with the golden triangles, this is one item that is very popular with our guests and it’s also one of the hardest to get the numbers right on - then we have paper, scissors and rock fights for the last remaining batch 🥊 🥊🥊

The Presidential Suite soon arrived with his state flag poles, the biggest wind up merchant this side of the River Thames - literally the Comedy Central channel was named after him. He doesn’t do pops and bangs just a pre-meditated back fire on the V7.

Casting couch was in full occupancy by 7 o’clock, sat in the sun ☀️ sipping their favourite tipple ‘The Hot Chocolate - Deluxe Version’ - the main door had to be lowered a tad to act as a sun visor.

Running Rich brought more gifts for the memorabilia collection which is now growing nicely - what can we do with it any ideas 💡?

As the evening continued the guests kept on arriving, President was doing the meet, greet and time shares in the yard. Digby was refusing to eat his new diet of raw carrots 🥕 so that bag became a community bag of carrots.

Always great to see some new faces, always welcome 🙏🏼 it’s your community at the end of the day.

The night shift soon arrived for more comedy scripts, the smell of old school pre cat, pre fuel injection, pre MS Dos cars never fails to disappoint - it’s addictive then benzine smell 👃

The food trading soon began, 2 goats for 1 sheep 🐑 and vice versa, the Paul Gray hour soon began with stories of his childhood memories and near misses - by now the audience had grown and sun ☀️ had truly set and the moon soon appeared - could hear lots of howling in the distance.

What happened at the Thursday gathering?

Gosh where do we start the appraisal for Thursday? Mr Digby was parked in the prime parking spot for the evening, he had been there since Monday - therefore the first comedy escapade of the evening was for Vern to get his tools out and his thinking cap 🧢 on, because Digby’s boot install was about to commence! We have a new build project each week now.

Everyone took there positions to watch the show begin - coffees and hot chocolate to hand, the golden triangles on stand by and the opening credits started to roll.

Guests had started arriving one by one, thinking it was 1995 and these boys were carrying out a new boot install, the young pups just laughing thinking, what, why, how 🤓

Kenny then popped the question, are you sure you’ve made that hole on the right side of the speaker boxes? Everyone took cover whilst Vern gave that knowing stare, meanwhile Digby was hanging out of the boot of his car scaring everyone off - half pants and half Digby 🤣🤣🤣

Somewhere in the background the football was on, Jay had provided some background football ⚽️ on screen which was covered up with another speaker box - speaker boxes 📦 literally everywhere.

Never seen an M4 in so many bits sprawled everywhere, we are going to rebrand ‘Cars, Jokers & Boom Boom Boxes’ retro stereo installs like the yesteryears.

Eventually Digby climbed back out of his boot after having his nap 😴 he was light headed after that experience - had to refill his hot chocolate and stabilise him.

Jay was reading the instructions on the speaker boxes and none of could remember what RMS stood for (Root Mean Square) the grey matter is slowly coming back to life.

Best lesson ever on how not to cable up a sound system ever 🤓

Someone then mentioned bins and that was it - B&W got on his soap box and started assassinating everyone in his cul-de-sac one by one, it all came out with both barrels - people had to take cover quickly.

The golden triangles were constantly being eyed up ⬆️ but no consumption until the boot install was done ☑️

Vern then eventually sat down to have his golden triangle, next minute it was tears 😭 because they were a little spicy 🌶️ tears were rolling down the face and a cold beverage had to be issued immediately to put the fire out.

Mark keeping a watching brief throughout making deluxe hot chocolates for everyone, Digby’s heart rate was back to normal too, colour back in his cheeks!

We had a few more new faces paying a visit, it was more of German 🇩🇪 car evening and some very nice AirRide examples.

Perry Mason was on the lens work, Jay was also on the lens work as was Kenny but he was sniping - some fancy rolling shots later on in the evening of Faraz’s car - they’ve come out so well!

Mr Gray then made an appearance after his 12” pizza 🍕 dinner, he didn’t bring us any though! The night shift began as we watched the sunset on the longest day of the year, made a change from the wet and cold evenings.

The casting couch 🛋️ was in full swing with multiple scripts on the go - car prices of old, the fancy car alarms 🚨 from back in the day, more spicy 🌶️ triangles on the go.

It was soon dark outside and soon it was 1AM 🕐 😮…

Come along and join in with the mad house, meet the crazy characters, not sure what next weeks project is yet, but it will be entertaining to watch no doubt.
