Have you got a Golf R, Cupra or S3 fitted with a GPF? If you’re looking to improve the sound and flow without removing the OEM catalytic converter, we’ve got a solution.
We’ve developed our hybrid downpipe, designed specifically for GPF equipped models. These retain the original OEM cat while replacing the restrictive GPF section with a 3 inch replacement pipe.
The result? Better exhaust flow, a slight increase in performance and, most importantly, a much better exhaust note, bringing back the sound you would expect from a pre GPF model.
Because the original road legal catalytic converter remains in place, this setup is more likely to pass an MOT compared with a full decat setup.
A Stage 1 map is required to remove the GPF related fault codes and allow the car to run correctly with the GPF removed.
