Our Abarth 600 racer is about to be painted! As usual more work than expected but we are well on the way now and the suspension and brake parts are ready to fit.

After running the Middle Barton Garage parts department for the last 10 years, David Hughes retired this week. He has been a mainstay of our business and we all wish him a long and happy retirement.

It's a very special car with a well-known and very well documented build history which has been seen at so many events in the UK and always attracts attention.

Here's a trip down memory lane, our superb TORNADO FIAT 600GT.

Fitted with a Lotus Twin Cam, this 600 was an absolute hoot to drive and was covered in detail in Auto Italia Issue 193.

Looks like it will be at the Italian Car Day at Brooklands tomorrow too.

The time has come to sell our much loved 1965 Abarth Simca 1300 ‘Long Nose’.
It's chassis number 130S*0091* and build number 69
Sold to the first owner by Radbourne Racing (the Abarth importer) on July 10th 1969. Original sales invoice on file detailing the chassis number 0091
Road registered in the UK on June 9th 1971 with number AHY302J. The original log book is on file together with a current V5C Purchased from the first owner in March 13th 2015 after the Abarth had been in storage since last driven in 1971.
The Abarth Simca was in storage for 44 years before being purchased by the present owner.
Meticulously restored in French Racing blue, the car is today ‘on the button’. Full specification on request
