These are by far the best upgrade you can make, I took nearly 3 seconds off my laps because they are load cell once you find your brake points itโs all down to muscle memory then ! Also the software is super simple and easy to use, it looks out dated but does exactly what you need and abit more so I think itโs great. These pedals where less than ยฃ140 and have a lot of adjustments and spares including different springs and rubbers my consistency also went through the roof as again muscle memory is a great thing ๐
๐ก๐ผ๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐บ๐ ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ดobviously I needed a way to bolt the pedals to something as they have a 200kg max load cell so something flimsy wasnโt going to cut it but at the same time ยฃ450 for a rig was off the cards until I stumbled upon LPM sim rigs at first I thought it was a mistake or scamโฆ no way something that looks this good could be real ? But it was and is ! So bought the LPM sim rig for ยฃ200 and will be buying another for the wife at some point as well ! Thanks
This rig is everything you could possible need other than having triple screen standsโฆ but LPM also sell this as a stand alone so will be buying this as well ๐
So I got the pedals and rig I just need a wheel base,wheel and of course something to sit on โฆ
I was super lucky with ๐ฆ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐๐๐ญ, itโs from a Subaru Impreza wrx sti and my friend had one laying around so I was kindly gifted that ( thanks Tim )

Super smooth responsive and relatively powerful a huge upgrade from my g29 however anyone who thinks a direct drive will improve their outright pace and lap times unfortunately this isnโt entirely the case, your feeling will improve ,
precision and consistency also but youโll maybe find half a second tops

I paid ยฃ200 for this base and itโs from sim-plicity a small British company much like LPM and much like LPM itโs top notch !
Please look at these bases before buying an expensive one as mige is the way forward !

I have an aluminium rig
A bucket seat
Direct drive
A gt3 wheel
And most importantly load cell pedals
And Iโm really happy I went this route"
I wanted to share matthews story as it proves you can build a good rig for a low cost if you save over time!! , really appreciated working with matthew my self :)
i also agree with him pedals can be more important than the wheelbase , but youll always be faster with a DD than a gear/belt driven wheelbase!!
