YES... WE PREFER CASH!
Sadly our monthly card fee bill, eats into the little profits we make and we don't pass this fee onto our customers. The ever increasing rises are a worry for all us small businesses so I'm asking for those able, pop to the cash machine and pay for your goods with real money. It will help so many businesses receive the funds they need and not have to increase there prices to pass on this charge and make a profit to cover other bills. Help support your local 🙃

Why should we pay cash everywhere with banknotes instead of a card?

- I have a £50 banknote in my pocket. I go to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the note to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the note to pay the barber. The barber will then use the note for shopping. After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a £50, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made..

- But if I come to a restaurant and pay for dinner digitally - Card bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around £1.50 and so the fee will be £1.50 for each further payment transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the laundry shop, or payments of the barber etc..... Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial £50 will remain only £5 and the remaining £45 became the property of the bank thanks to all digital transactions and fees.

Afternoon everyone. Hope your all keeping safe.
Could anyone help me solve a payment mystery for my dad.
A male customer came in and paid cash for there bill on Friday 12th Feb in the afternoon.
He didn't want a receipt at the time and with Ken being busy he didnt note the name down.
The amount was in excess of £160
So if you male and called in to pay your bill in cash over this amount, please can you get in touch so we can allocate it to your account.
Dads been trying to remember your name but his memory had failed him on this occasion.

Please can all our customers help keep our staff safe by washing down with antibac all personal contact areas (steering wheel, gear leaver, indicators and door handles) prior to dropping off your vehicle. If you have any symptoms then please ask someone else to drop your car in for you.
