Here at Phoenix Motors Body Repair and Paint Centre we have a new and exciting job opportunity available now!!

We are looking for a new Painter/Panel Be**er to join our team!

To carry out the work of a Painter/Panel Be**er at Phoenix Motors you must:

Be able to prepare panels ready for painting such as filling, sanding etc.

- Remove and reinstall vehicle components.
- Spray vehicle bodywork to a high standard (not necessary)
- Clean, buff and polish vehicles after works have been carried out.
- Keep a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- Preparing and mixing paints ready to be sprayed
- Masking and trimming of vehicle components ready for paint
- Remove dents from vehicles body work and straighten out car
metal.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced working environment whilst still keeping to the high standards of work both we and the customers expect.
- Maintain equipment and ensure tools are kept in good working condition.
- Have a pro-active and enthusiastic approach
- Use job cards to plan work in advance to avoid waste and ensure vehicles are repaired to high standards.
- Have Strong communication skills with both customers and colleagues
- Have a Good attention to detail
- The ability to work in a competent and efficient team on their own or part of a busy team
- Carry out day-to-day tasks.
- The ability to follow both written and spoken instructions
- Follow task lists to ensure all procedures are carried out and to the expected standards
- Have experience in painting or Panel beating of vehicles in previous workplaces.

Here we have motorhome that got brought into us for a rear bumper repair because as seen in the picture below it has had a nasty bump. It has now been repaired and is as good as new with no cracks, scratches or bumps in sight.
Walking away we have another happy customer!
