Weld of the Week - this one was a real resurrection! 🛻💪

Having failed the MOT, the customer brought this car to us for life-saving welding repairs.

And Dave really had to work his magic to transform it... from rusty and wrecked to good as new. ✨

Even though Dave's been doing this for years (and he's pretty damn good at it!) we still find it amazing what you can do with welding.

Another week, another DPF clean. 🔧

And this is exactly why we're glad we invested in our DPF cleaning machine!

That lovely-looking sludge in the video? 🤢

It came out of a DPF during the cleaning process.

A DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) traps soot and particles from your exhaust. Over time, it can become clogged with all that build-up, which can lead to warning lights, loss of power and other problems.

Our professional cleaning process removes that build-up and gets the DPF back to doing its job properly.

Dave's the one in the workshop, getting his hands dirty with over 30 years of mechanical experience. Jenna's the friendly voice on the phone and the smiling face behind the front desk.

You know those jobs where you can just about get one hand in?

This was one of them. 😅

A power steering repair. 🔧

At first glance, it's impossible to tell what Dave's up to...

He's actually doing is trying to reach a part that's tucked away in one of the most awkward places imaginable.

It's something people don't always see: sometimes the repair itself isn't the hardest bit, it's getting access to the part that needs repairing in the first place.

Modern cars are brilliantly engineered, but they're not always designed with mechanics in mind!

That's why some jobs can take longer than you'd expect. We'd always rather take the time to do it properly than rush a repair or cut corners.

It's all part of another day in the workshop at O'Reilly's Repairs.

Weld of the Week - This was a big one!

🛠️ This hydraulic tipper came in with a badly corroded pump bracket that was compromising the whole lifting system.

Dave fixed it up, made it all shiny and new and now this workhorse is safely back on the road.

There's no job too tough for our workshop!
