Momentous day yesterday when i finally got to deliver andy RS2000 after a full restoration to the bodywork. This has been a challenging job for many reasons. After discussions with the owner we opted to send the car to a rs expert to get the welding done to get the car done faster. when the car came back to me after this work had been carried out it wasn’t up to standard really poor workmanship (few photos at the start) Many hours of re work trying to salvage new panels that had been fitted over old rusty panels made this worse than when we sent it away. After many many hours it’s now finished ready to start the reassembly process. The car will come back to me for decals and final polish once all built up.

Little mx5 I’ve just completed has undergone extensive metal work repairs to rotten areas. New panels fitted where possible but some panels not available to buy so fabricated in house by myself. Car is now full finished rust proofed with wax oil to prevent this occurring again. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I Haven’t posted anything for a while. I bought this as a little project for myself last year which I’ve just completed. Originally I was going to replace the rear quarter panel with new but the price of the part was more than the cars value. I then decided to challenge myself with repairing the quarter panel by pulling all the damage out then filling and shaping it saving the original panel. Just goes to show what you can repair and save and the result speaks for itself. 👍🏻🤩

Haven’t posted in a while just been very busy with a few big jobs I’ve had on. One of our returning customers cars had a bit of a bump so decided to repair instead of replace on this one for cost of parts etc. came out fantastic really pleased with the end results 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Another big job completed on this rs focus in for stone chips and rear arches rust spots. Been a busy few weeks on to the next ones 💪🏻👍🏻🍻

Bit of retro 80s/90s hot hatch Renault 5 turbo been in for front bumper repairs driver door lock and rust on the rear of the door. Bumper has been stripped bare then glass fibre repairs carried out and repainted. 👍🏻

Another big job on a transporter completed today. No rust just panel damage on this one. Bit of pulling work on the drivers rear quarter bit of a tricky repair but came out great. Replaced the drivers door with second hand and one of the rear barn doors. Came out really nice and what a lovely colour. On to the next one 💪🏻😎

I’ve just completed this big job on lee’s transport lwb. Lots of rust spots on these vans so I took the areas back to bare metal and shot blasted back to clean metal. Rust proof primers used and painted finished with a waxoiling. Also fitted a Leighton custom rear bumper which finishes the van off nice. Very high quality bumper for a copy part. Pay for what you get.
