Platts is a third-generation family-run dealership serving Marlow since 1925. In fact, everything to keep your car on the road and in peak condition!

As an authorised Suzuki dealer and authorised Ford Service Agent, we offer New and Used car sales, MOTs, servicing, and repairs for all Vehicle makes. Platts dealership has changed to Suzuki but we are still an authorised Ford service and repair at our workshop in Oxford Road. We offer a range of services at Marlow where Platts have been established for 100+ years. Our sales room on West Street has an assistant-served petrol forecourt, new Suzuki's and used Fords and other car makes for sale. The service department on Oxford Road is now authorised for Suzuki vehicles as well as retaining authorised Ford servicing and repairs, we offer the sale of parts & accessories as well as a 15 bay workshop where we undertake all types of after-sales services from routine servicing, MOT's, fault finding and diagnostics as well as air conditioning recharging. We pride ourselves in being able to service a wide range of cars with great customer service at it's heart.

Here, in their natural habitat amongst the forecourt terrain, we observe a truly rare sight: a magnificent pair of wild Kugas (Fordus Kugus), peacefully congregating in the lush surroundings of Platts of Marlow.

Notice the striking contrast between these two apex predators of the tarmac.
On the right, the Plug-in Hybrid ST-Line X—with its athletic stance and sharp aerodynamic lines, perfectly adapted for seamlessly switching between silent electric stalking and high-performance roaming.

Both species are remarkably well-adapted to the modern landscape, yet rarely captured this close together in the wild.

Notice Your TPMS Light On in the Cold? We’ve Got You Covered!

When the temperature drops, it’s completely normal for your Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light to pop up on your dashboard.
For every 10°C drop in ambient temperature, your tyre pressure naturally decreases by around 0.1 bar (1.5 PSI) as the air inside cools and contracts.

This pressure drop triggers the TPMS light to warn you that your tyres are under-inflated.

Correct tyre pressures are essential for safe handling, good braking performance, and optimal fuel economy. However, it's also important to rule out a puncture or slow leak!

Whenever you buy fuel from us, our forecourt team will happily check your tyre pressures on the spot, saving you time and keeping your hands clean.

Once your tyres are back to their correct pressures, check your vehicle handbook to see if your TPMS light needs a quick manual reset in your dashboard menu, or if it will turn off automatically after a short drive.
