Is the Jaguar Project 7 one of the most overlooked modern collector cars?

Only 250 were built worldwide. Just 80 came to the UK.

It was the first production car created by Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations division, produced to celebrate 60 years of the D-Type and powered by a 575PS supercharged 5.0-litre V8.

And yet the Project 7 still seems to sit slightly outside the conversation around the great limited-production performance cars of its era.
Should it?

This example makes the argument particularly strongly: Ultimate Black, just 373 miles from new, two owners, Jaguar service history, carbon ceramics and the wonderfully unsubtle added yellow graphics.

Which raises the interesting question:
Is the Project 7 an undervalued future collector car — or will it always remain a brilliant but niche Jaguar?

2016 LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SV ROADSTER
Lamborghini limited the SV Roadster to 500 units worldwide (compared with 600 SV coupés) with only around 65 units for the UK.

At its heart, a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12, producing 750 hp at 8,400 rpm driving all four wheels through Lamborghini’s single-clutch 7-speed ISR transmission, giving 0–62 mph in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of over 217 mph (with the roof off!)
