Great weekend seeing Jack get on the track in the Maliboost! 8.37 on its debut event! Looking forward to the next one!

What a dream first event! Had a few teething issues with the car (only managed one pass on the test day) but we hadn’t driven it the car on the track or street before this meeting. My first drive of the car properly was Thursday morning around the pits!

After that we went through the licensing process, which all went well!

After this, I left the line at 1psi and ran a 8.73 which hopefully is just a small taster of what this car can do!

•We completed the cruise with no real issues!
•Qualified 6th overall in a 14 car field.
•Made it to the semi finals and lost on a PB!

I came into this meeting with my PB in dad’s corvette being an 11.80, and leave it with a 8.37!

Wow this car has got some potential! And yes it does like a wheelie and a good burnout!

As always, I’m only the driver, so thanks to my crew (Dad, Mum and Amber) - my fueltech tech super tuner - Andreas, my Chassis pro man Jedd and my bad-ass engine builder Stefan!

Stephen brought his Alfa Romeo GT Junior (Red Submarine) to us last year for a custom designed rollcage and aluminium rear panel to go in the confined space of the custom body. Very cool to now see it featured in Auto Italia magazine and mentioning the pop 😎

What a weekend!
We got to the track early Friday to do some investigation work as to why Colin had a pop wanting to take the long route. Jedd, Aaron and Colin went through everything on the car and made some adjustments before having a 1 shot qualifyer saturday evening....still not very straight. After some more adjustments Colin ran a 6.95 on sunday and then took the event win! 😎
We also got a double dose of excitement as we were assisting Barnaby Levy with crewing where needed and he got event RunnerUp!! Congratulations to you both!! 🏆
