Bank Holiday Wet Belt Fun 🤩
Wet Belt completed on a customers 2019 RWD Ecoblue Transit today.
A job not many garages want to take on, which is understandable, but the principle of a wet belt is much the same as any other belt - it’s just the aggravation of ensuring the sump is removed and the oil pump strainer is cleared.
Unlike the FWD models, the RWD Transit’s - the engine’s support cradle needs removing from underneath and the engine and gearbox supported. Can be quite a daunting operation to undertake, but we thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Parts supplied with a mixture of Genuine and OE Equivalent parts. No expense spared with a full comprehensive kit including:
- Wet Belt
- Timing Belt Tensioner & Bolt
- Oil Pump Belt
- Timing Cover
- Sump Pan
- Oil Pick Up Pipe
- Genuine FORD Crank Bolt
- Genuine FORD Crank Idler Gear Bolt (ESSENTIAL)
