My brill birthday presents I got today!!

Many, many thanks to me good mateykins Neil Kellow, who came along and repaired my two babies for me!! I can't thank you enough (in public!! LOL!!). I can now knuckle down to some serious practicing to try and at least get back to the standard I was at this time 6 years ago (currently I play like I'm wearing boxing gloves!!). I'd like to think I can get out gigging again, (kind of a ''Mutha's Ruin'' thing but without all the faff of storylines and backing tapes) but it would only be a ''hobby'' band this time, only a handful of gigs a year to keep it fun. Who knows!!

Happy birthday to the most beautiful, amazing woman in the world, my awesome wife, Clare. She's had a rough few weeks lately, but she has shown an inner strength even she didn't know she has. My soul mate, best friend and rock.

Awesome score at Mansfield charity shops today!! Cher & Status Quo vinyl from the Sally Army, Inxs from Help The Aged and Coal chamber & Murderdolls at British Heart Foundation. There are loads of metal CDs at BHF, think someone had had a clear out, but they look like they'd been stored disc-down on the kitchen floor. Had I got some scratch removing cream I might have had a punt on them.
