Classics On The Moor - Sheffield city centre Aug 16th. Thanks to Mark, Tim, AJ & Tracey for a super-relaxed day watching the world go-by on The Moor shopping area in Sheffield. We had A LOT of interest in our Capris all-day-long. The buskers who were further up The Moor came down our way later but failed to stop Mark falling asleep - I even put my up-turned cap on the pavement to collect money for him but nobody parted with any cash!

Eclipse - Not quite what i expected. I was parked on Peafield Lane Mansfield from 6pm to 7.30pm but it didn't really get dark? ... plus i was surrounded by a bunch of other cars and people so restricted what angles i could take photos at. Oh well - at least it was a nice evening for a drive out.

Boston Classic Car Show Sunday Aug 9th. The heat greets you as you pull up on the lane alongside the show field entrance. Another HOT show. Great to see Ray's Gold MKII out and about. Always a great day out and good to catch up with the guys from Fordsport and Richard from Witham Oil who had a stand not far away from us.

Cromford Steam Rally today. 14-Capri convoy travelling through Derbyshire to the huge venue between Alfreton and Matlock. Fantastic day with loads to see and do. We did end-up on the fairground rides (again).

Elvaston Castle Motor Show nr Derby July 26th. Awesome 11-Capri display. Great to see Katie's black 2.8i with repaired rear corner - lookin' good! Michael's MKIII 280 v the two MKI's looked amazing. I knew listening to Paul L about going on that sky-ride fairground ride was a bad idea - felt rough when we finally got back on the ground but did manage pizza and ice cream later!
