🚐✨ The Big Whigg takes Annette & the gang to CUMBRIA! 🌲🐾

A destination was pulled from the legendary jam jar, the bags were packed, and off they went, this time heading north to the beautiful landscapes of Cumbria.

And as always, Annette has been kind enough to share a little glimpse of their latest adventure with us… 🥰

Their latest stop was Kendal CAMC, nestled amongst lush woodland and a fascinating old gunpowder production site. And it sounds like the wildlife certainly knew they had arrived! 🐦🌲

With all manner of woodland birds and little beasties around, Spruce and Zanna were on high alert day and night! 🚨😂🐾

There were plenty of fabulous walks straight from the campsite, although the weather had other ideas 🌧️💨 And as we all know, the hounds don’t do weather! 🌦️😂

So there was plenty of relaxing in Big Whigg instead, Annette with a good book, the hounds tucked up in their bed, and Roamio swinging from the sun visors in his amazing hammock. 🐻💤

They also hopped on the bus into Kendal, enjoying a couple of hours exploring the town before retreating back to the peace and quiet of the campsite.

That is the beauty of Motorhome ownership, being able to relax in comfortable surroundings, doing things at your own pace and in your own time. Who needs hustle and bustle? 🥰

Thank you soo much Annette for sharing another beloved Big Whigg adventure with us! We're always so excited to see what gets pulled out of the jar next time as you fill in your map! 💚

Say hi to Ryan! 👋 Our incredible Mechanic and Workshop Manager at our Mansfield branch. 🚐🔧

Ryan has been with us since day one and is a hugely valued part of the rove! teams. He lives and breathes engines, with a wealth of mechanical knowledge that makes his brain work like an absolute machine! ⚙️

As Workshop Manager, Ryan plays a huge part behind the scenes, making sure our motorhomes are properly checked over, prepared, and ready for their next adventures. His attention to detail and genuine love for vehicles really shows in his work, while his knowledge is also something our teams across the branches regularly turn to when they need a helping hand or a bit of mechanical advice.

And it's not just his mechanical knowledge that makes Ryan such a great person to have around, he's naturally friendly, enjoys a chat with customers who have questions, and is always happy to share what he knows. 😊

Outside of work, Ryan loves motorbikes, camping, fishing and holidays, and generally making the most of his time by finding plenty to enjoy! 🏍️🎣🏕️☀️

What do you love most about your role?
"I love the variety and problem solving, and my team are great to be around."

Which motorhome or campervan would you choose?
"Whatever I fancy that month! I'm like a kid in a sweet shop, choose something that suits at the time."

Where would you go first?
"South of France. After having the mechanical fun part done, such as servicing and MOT, I like to make sure it's all done and ready before a big trip. It's warm there, nice and relaxed."

Would you rather sound like a fog horn every time you yawned, or blow out large clouds of diesel fumes every time you sneezed?
"I'm a mechanic! I already blow out diesel like a blocked EGR valve anyway, so I'd choose the sneezing!" 😂💨

This pampered pooch Rosie is 3 years old today and feeling absolutely fabulous! 🥳✨

Dogs are such a huge part of our lives & adventures, so we always love making sure they get a little extra fuss when their special day comes around. 🥰

This little sweetie belongs to our Selston Manager, Joe… although it’s very obvious she is 100% the real manager. 😂🐶

Finally, collection day has arrived! John has collected his lovely Chausson and is all set for some fantastic adventures, joined by his friend Kevin and, of course, the absolutely gorgeous Skye! 🐶❤️

Three races, three podiums and another weekend showing exactly why Kyle is our reigning champion. 💪 We’re incredibly proud of him. 🥰

We know just how much Kyle gives every single time he gets out on track, and he gave it everything this weekend once again. To come away from Cadwell with three podium finishes and the championship lead still firmly in his hands is an incredible result. 👏

🚐🐻🐻 Chebbie & Detch take off on their first adventure! 🌊✨

Getting all prepared, clipped in and ready for that very first getaway is such an exciting moment... The beginning of the adventures, the memories and all the miles still to come! 🥰

And what better place to start than Skegness? A true British seaside favourite, with plenty of seaside fun, sandy shores and, of course, some good old fish and chips! 🍟🐟

We hope you all enjoyed your first little getaway and managed to enjoy some fish and chips along the way! 😋 We can't wait to hear what personalities your little bears have as they join you along your travels.
