Almost time for this one to go home 👌

One final visit to the paint shop for a bit of buffing and a few touchups then it’ll be ready for collection!

It came to us a completely different colour with a few issues to sort we’ll do a full writeup on what’s gone into it but for now how good does it look! 😍

Actually got out and did some testing in this today 🤣

Last time I posted it was moving under its own power now we’re getting some miles on it and having a play with the gearbox and sorting the calibration out 🚜💨

Still need to finish it, but I keep getting distracted driving it 😂👌

This is Zak from Esign - Signage & Event Branding I’ve known him a number of years now. In fact I think we first spoke after he bought an RS6 I’d mapped and wanted to know if the speed limiter had been removed ahead of vmax200 I managed to tag along as well and do 200mph in the car I was driving! 👌

He’s finally succumbed to the lure of a Defender, and the guys at Proveeda did a lovely job prepping this one.

It’s now had one of our Stage 1 remaps with the throttle fix. Heaps more usable power and it just pulls relentlessly!

I’m sure by the time he’s finished putting his own stamp on it, this will look like a very different motor! 😂

Slowly coming together… we’re almost there with this one! 👌

Some more wiring and a few finishing details to sort, then it can head back to its owner looking fresh.

This Defender arrived a completely different colour and with a few issues to work through. A fair bit has changed since then!

We’ll do a complete write-up once it’s finished, but here’s a little look at how it’s coming along 💪

This early Td5 90 came in for a remap with a simple brief make it nicer to drive every day.

A lot more response and pulling power without excessive smoke or noise it’s still on the standard exhaust too

Theres plenty more potential in this 90 but the owner’s already loving its new lease of life. Sometimes that’s all a Defender needs 👌

I’ve always liked the Freelande 2 one of the cars that I’ve kept around and not got bored of… or maybe I’ve just invested too much time and money into keeping it on the road 🤣👌

They definitely divide opinion though some people love them and some people wouldn’t have one given to them 😂

But now Autocar seem to think they’re a brilliant Land Rover buy for around £2k! And I would have to agree

Have they finally become cool or are they still the Land Rover nobody wants to admit they like? 🤣 👀

What do we reckon?

This 90 has been coming to us for a number of years now and when it first arrived it looked and drove very different to this! This time in for its annual service and check over (yes they do get to a point where it’s just servicing and not repairs 🤣🤣)

Over the years we’ve been involved in pretty much every stage of its development from a full SuperPro Suspension bush kit and engine rebuild through to the usual performance upgrades and plenty of cosmetic changes along the way. This 90 rides and performs so well!

A proper example of how LandRovers evolve over the years, with each owner putting their own stamp on it and adding their own choice of upgrades along the way 👌
