🚨🚗 36 million UK drivers could be at risk of a £70 fine!

New research reveals that 84% of motorists don't know what a bus gate is, despite these road restrictions becoming increasingly common across UK towns and cities.

And the consequences can be costly! 💷

One bus gate in Preston has generated more than £3.7 million in fines since June 2024.

So, what exactly is a bus gate? 🤔

Unlike a traditional bus lane, a bus gate can restrict access across the entire width of a road, usually allowing buses, cyclists and sometimes taxis through while preventing general traffic from entering.

In many areas, fines are £70, although this is often reduced to £35 if paid within the early-payment period.
