Mercedes G-Class in satin black.

Satin sits between gloss and matte, and on a shape like this it's usually the right call. Gloss throws reflections straight across those big flat panels, and matte takes the definition out of them altogether. Satin holds just enough light along an edge to keep the shape.

It's film rather than paint, so the original finish underneath is left alone and protected, and it can come off again later.

A van for a Ferrari dealer has to look like it belongs next to the cars, so it went red first, in a satin finish, and then Stratstone.com went across the box sides, the rear doors and the bonnet.

BMW M2 wrapped in Avery Dennison Satin Black Rock Grey. ๐Ÿฉถ

This one belongs to one of our own wrappers, and they've gone to town on it. Spoiler, splitter, an LED steering wheel, and the two crash bars behind the grille wrapped in gold so they match the wheels. ๐Ÿ’›

It's a colour shift film, so a photo only ever gets one colour of it. Stand still and it's a deep red, walk the length of the car and it moves through purple into bronze by the back.

It's also had a body kit, the wheels done and a full ceramic coat before it went back to the customer. Finished at our unit in Trafford Park. ๐ŸŽฅ

Audi RSQ8 wrapped in KPMF Satin Nero. ๐Ÿ

The car came to us in lime green, which is why we've gone right into the door shuts and the backs of the doors as well as the outside. If you leave those you get a flash of green every time a door opens and it spoils the whole thing.

Satin black on a car this size takes time to get right. The panels are big, the arches are tight and the finish doesn't hide anything, so it's all about getting the film on clean and the edges tidy.

The original paint is untouched underneath and it can all come off again if they ever want it back to green.

The chrome trim around the side windows is now ORAFOL High Gloss Black. It's a small job by area, but on a car this dark green that chrome was the brightest line down the whole side, and in gloss black the side of the car looks a lot cleaner. ๐Ÿ’š

Colour PPF is paint protection film with the colour built in, so one install gives the car a new finish and protects the factory paint from stone chips at the same time. Doing it on a brand new car means the paint underneath is protected while it's still in factory condition.

Another trailer for the Jerk Junction fleet. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ

Printed on our Epson S9100 solvent printer onto ORAFOL 3551. We use the Epson when a brand's colours need to come out as strong as they can, and Jerk Junction's greens and yellows are a good example.

Logo full size on both sides and The Home of Proper Jerk running along the top.
