Peugeot Expert in a printed fleet wrap.

There are two ways to put a business name on a van. Cut vinyl is the letters and logo cut out of coloured film and laid onto the panel, which is quick, hard-wearing and right for plenty of trades. A printed wrap has the design printed onto the film first, so it can carry gradients and photographs across the whole side.

This one is the second sort. The blue washes across the back and fades into white by the doors, and there's no way of doing that in cut vinyl.

Mercedes GLC in matte java brown.

A colour change is laid panel by panel rather than sprayed. The brown goes more bronze as the light moves across it, which is what you're paying for compared with a flat colour.

Because it's film rather than paint, the original finish underneath is left alone and protected, and it can come off again later without any damage.

Something a little different through the unit this month.

A full sheriff livery — designed, printed, cut and fitted in house. The star on the door is the part that takes the time: every point has to line up across a curved surface, and there is nowhere to hide if it drifts even slightly.

Most of our work is colour change on prestige cars and fleet livery for local businesses. Jobs like this one are the exception, and they're the ones the team enjoys most.

Audi RSQ8, finished in KPMF Nero Stealth.

A full colour change means every panel wrapped — not sprayed. The original paint stays sealed underneath, protected from stone chips and UV, and the whole thing is reversible whenever the owner decides on something else.
