Preparations for this weekend's Kelsall Steam and Vintage Rally are well underway, with customer vehicles already being collected for display on our stand—including this impressive Volvo FH16, 750 with rolling crane belonging to Millers Recovery (Millers of Longton Ltd).

This flagship recovery vehicle is a true game-changer: the first 1150R 50-ton rolling crane in Europe. Built on a powerful 5-axle Volvo FH16 chassis, it delivers exceptional rear lifting capacity.

Vehicles are now being carefully positioned, and our hospitality unit is en route as preparations gather pace.

We're looking forward to a fantastic weekend and can't wait to welcome visitors to our stand.

Towns Transport has taken delivery of an impressive new Volvo Globetrotter XL truck, supplied by Anthony Walsh.

Finished in sleek metallic black and equipped with a wide range of premium options, this flagship vehicle is built for exceptional driver comfort, performance, and efficiency.

Powered by Volvo's renowned 540hp engine and equipped with the advanced I-Shift Dual Clutch gearbox, the truck boasts an impressive list of features, including Volvo Dynamic Steering, a Black Edition Plus leather interior, a camera monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, and an air-suspended cab. Additional highlights include Dura-Bright aluminium wheels and a fully equipped driver environment featuring a microwave, television, fridge-freezer, and rotating passenger seat.

Manchester-based customer, O'Gara's, is the latest company to take advantage of our newest Volvo FMX demonstrator truck.

Our demonstrator fleet allows businesses and owner-operators to put a commercial vehicle through its paces in real-world operating conditions before making a purchase decision.

Last week, Transport Manager Peter Schofield collected the truck from Neil Patton, Customer Solutions Manager, and we look forward to hearing his honest feedback once the vehicle is returned.

We hope the FMX proves to be a valuable asset during its trial and thank O'Gara's for choosing to experience it first-hand.

Today, eight employees from Thomas Hardie Commercials have taken a break from their usual job roles to volunteer in the gardens at Derian House Children's Hospice.

It didn't take long for the team to roll up their sleeves, put on their waterproofs, pick up their shovels, and get to work maintaining the hospice gardens.

We're committed to giving back to the communities we serve through charitable donations, attending or hosting fundraising events, and volunteering our time and skills where they can make a difference.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the fantastic team at Derian House Children's Hospice for allowing us to support the incredible work they do. We would also like to thank and congratulate all those involved for their hard work, enthusiasm, and commitment in completing the tasks set.

We are proud to support such a worthwhile cause and look forward to future opportunities to make a positive impact in our community.
