I'm thrilled to share some exciting news! Today, we officially obtained the keys to our new premises at Kip McGrath Lymm. It's a significant milestone that marks the beginning of an incredible journey. We're eagerly looking forward to preparing the space and creating a warm and welcoming environment for our first group of children. Just a quick update - there isn’t yet a confirmed time line from the DVSA of when driving lessons can resume.

I’m hoping we will get more clarity soon and will post as soon as a date becomes clear.

I’m pleased to share that the government has today announced that driving lessons can resume in England from 4 July provided safety measures to limit the spread of coronavirus are observed. These will include cleaning the car between lessons, both instructor & pupil to wear clothing that covers arms & legs, wearing of gloves & face mask and windows to be down when driving.

Hi there, I hope that you are keeping well. I wanted to keep you updated on the position with driving lessons and tests. All theory and practical driving tests are still suspended & there is currently no date for them to resume. The government and DVSA are also still advising that driving instruction is only undertaken when essential, such as for critical workers. My priority remains the health and well-being of us all and I am therefore still following the advice to stay at home as much as possible.

I am hoping that when the government next reviews the lockdown on 18 June that there will be more relaxation of the rules which would enable me to start giving driving lessons again. I will continue to post updates on the Drive Academy page & through messages. Take care and stay safe. Andrew.

All of my driving lessons are currently suspended during the lockdown period. Current information from the DVSA is that test dates are being confirmed for June but they will be subject to the current social distancing restrictions being lifted.
