🚨 AUDI Q3 – SUSPENSION FAILURE CAUGHT IN TIME! 🚨

Another job successfully carried out by JM Auto Repairs & JJ Cars 🔧🚗

This Audi Q3 came to us with a rear trailing arm that had corroded so badly it had actually snapped! 😳

⚠️ Severe corrosion can seriously weaken suspension components, and in this case the damage had gone far enough for the trailing arm to completely fail.

Have you checked your suspension on your Audi? 👀

If your Audi is showing signs of:

🔧 Knocking or unusual noises
🔧 Handling problems
🔧 Excessive movement
🔧 Uneven tyre wear
🔧 Visible corrosion

…it could be time to get your suspension inspected.

🔧 THAT RATTLE WASN’T ONE TO IGNORE! 😳🔧

Another job successfully completed by JM Auto Repairs & JJ Cars on this 2016 Vauxhall Corsa 🚗

The customer had noticed a loud rattling noise from the engine along with a noticeable loss of power. After carrying out our checks, we found the timing chain guides had broken, leaving the timing chain extremely slack. 😬

⚠️ A loose timing chain can quickly lead to serious engine damage if it jumps out of time or fails completely.

We stripped it down, replaced the timing chain and damaged guides, checked everything over and got the engine running properly again. ✅

Another vehicle back on the road and another potentially expensive engine failure avoided! 💪🔧

🚨 A ROUTINE BELT CHANGE THAT REVEALED A HIDDEN PROBLEM! 🚨

Another Peugeot 2008 (2016) in with JM Auto Repairs for a preventative wet belt replacement 🔧

The belt was being replaced as a preventative measure, but once we inspected it, we found it had already started cracking! 😳

This one was definitely caught at the right time! 👀

We replaced the complete wet belt kit, removed the sump and thoroughly cleaned the oil pickup/strainer to make sure any belt debris was removed.

We also fitted a new oil and filter to finish the job properly. ✅

🛠️ Prevention is always better than waiting for a wet belt to fail!
