The business was established in the 1980s by Klaus Steinegger who provided running maintenance and repair on these little cars and in the very early days, a

s 2CV enthusiasts, we were customers. Over time Alan’s many years experience as a sheet metal worker resulted in his being invited to join Klaus on a part time basis to carry out bodywork repairs needing specialist attention. When Klaus wanted to retire and return to his home in Germany in 2000 Alan took over the operation and eleven years later, his son Tony, himself a fully time served panel be**er and paint sprayer, came into the business which he now runs jointly with Alan. Operating from a fully equipped workshop with modern machinery, welding and spraying facilities, the business offers a full range of servicing, MOT prep, repairs, restorations and rebuilds plus the supply of new and used parts. A detailed record is kept of all work carried out on each customer’s car and we take pride in providing a professional service on a one-to-one basis underpinned throughout by family values.
