A real piece of history rolled into the workshop today! 🚒
One of our long-standing customers brought in this incredible 1957 Series 1 Ransomes Fire Engine for a leaking hub oil seal, wheel bearing inspection, rear flexible brake pipe replacement, and brake fluid change.
Despite being nearly 70 years old, it’s still fully operational — complete with hose reel, water pump, and, most importantly, the bell! 🔔
Working on classics like this requires specialist knowledge that’s becoming increasingly rare. Many younger technicians simply aren’t taught how to maintain vehicles of this era, which makes us incredibly fortunate to have Mark. With over 30 years of Land Rover experience, he knows exactly how to keep these historic machines on the road.
