Winter maintenance is officially underway! 🚤

We’re kicking things off with a complete transformation of the cab, stripping it out and giving it a fresh new look!

There’s plenty of work to be done over the coming months, and we’ll be sharing updates along the way.

Keep an eye on our socials to follow the progress! 👀

Ever wondered what goes into keeping the Kentish Lady safe on the water? 🚢⚓

Recently, The Kentish Lady underwent a Heel Test to ensure she meets the MCA stability standards and remains safe for our passengers!

The process involved moving a whopping 7.5 tonnes of 20kg weights around the boat eight times, causing her to tilt to both port and starboard to test her stability.

It’s all part of ensuring the Kentish Lady is safe and stable when carrying passengers along the River Medway 💙

Just one of the many things that happen behind the scenes to keep everyone safe on board!

As most of you know, we here at The Kentish Lady are proud sponsors of Weavering Warriors RFC, and the are looking to secure their brand new facilities with a security fence. We ask that everyone that can spare anything to help them, please do, and help this wonderful, community driven rugby club secure their most valuable asset, their home.

BECOME A BOUNDARY BUILDER. HELP SECURE OUR HOME.

We’re raising funds for new perimeter fencing and secure gates at The Heathers, protecting a home for rugby, friendship and our local community.

Sponsor a metre for £110 and put your individual, family or business name on our clubhouse Boundary Builders board. Leave your mark on the club while helping us build something lasting.

Businesses can also support larger sections, with packages offering social media recognition and branded fence signage. Take a look at our sponsorship PDF for the options: http://weaveringwarriorsrfc.uk/club-news/become-a-boundary-builder-help-secure-our-home/

Every donation helps, whatever the size. Give what you can, sponsor a metre, or share this appeal to help spread the word.

How did we come to own the Kentish Lady?

Nick’s dad used to wave to the boat every day as it passed his house in East Farleigh, and one day he spotted a for sale sign on board.

That moment eventually led to Nick and Linda taking over the Kentish Lady in 2014 and the rest is history.

A little look back at how our journey with the Kentish Lady began 💙
