Why has Kent Automotive not been on social media❓
Well, It seems that every garage is a service specialist in 2024 who can change your filters, Suspension, exhaust or brakes... but what makes a REAL specialist ie a VAG group specialist like us, what makes us different? 🤷♂️
Well from the photos attached you will see the Audi academy training certificates and training courses in advanced electrical systems and mechanical. Along with many specialist tools. Needless to say our product knowledge and expertise on VW and Audi's is very good.
Specialist's like us have to employ techs or main dealer techs that are far beyond what we call service techs or fitters. We require techs that know how the advanced systems work on your car to then be able to diagnose correctly, what parts are required to rectify it and to operate manufacture specific tools, equipment and diagnostics. We also pay for the back up of manufacture workshop manuals and wiring diagrams to carry out all work to a high standard and to dealer specifications; A cheaper alternative to a main dealer.
With all this in mind a service is very easy to any mechanic however an advanced electrical job will take 5 times as long as a service and most local garages referring there customers to a specialist for this. This is why specialists book a few weeks in advance due to the nature and time scale of most jobs.
Did you know that 99% of customers only ever call for a 'value' of their service? Not once will they ask what oil, parts or consumables are being used.
For example: Your local garage may charge £150 for a service but we charge £200. The difference being is we use Genuine Quantum factory engine oil, Genuine Screen wash, Genuine G13 Anti freeze and mostly Genuine Parts backed by a Qualified experienced VAG technician. We cannot do all this for the same money as a local garage as we do not use cheap oil, cheap parts and cheap consumables. This is why services can vary so much in price and quality.

Your wallet will thank you for it in the future. As we are currently supplying and fitting too many engines lately where cheap servicing has caused premature wear. We believe we are reasonably priced for quality parts and workmanship, however the Genuine parts prices on some parts can make us look very expensive which is out of our hands.
Being tucked into complex wiring issues daily, with emails pinging and the phone ringing we do not have much time for social media. You'll never see a sponsored ad or marketing from a manufacture specialist like us as recommendations pass far and wide to keep us busy as every garage wants to opt for just being a service specialist while we opt for being the best Independent VAG group specialist we can be. We can carry out more complex work than most garages with a high standard of workmanship due to experience, product knowledge and extensive special tool list.
