Thats both Amelia and Naoise through the test. Twin sisters who started on the same day and passed within a couple of weeks of each other.

Fantastic drivers and only 7 minors in total between the 2 tests. Great achievement girls.

Something I'm repeatedly having conversations about

Does the new GDL rules affect me?

Do you currently have a Learner License and are already 17 years old? - then no you have till 31st March 2027 to pass under the current rules and regulations. (HAPPY DAYS) You are 17 and don't have a L License? Then apply now and you still fall under the current rules

Now this is where I get bogged down in questions.....

My son or daughter has their provisional license already (they applied early) but doesn't turn 17 untill after the 1st October 2026.... then you are indeed part of the new rules.

If your Provisional License states on the back that the 1st day your allowed to drive a Cat B car legally on our roads as a learner is your birthday date and your birthday is on or after the 1st October 2026 then you are in the new GDL system.

🌟 You WILL have to wait 6 months before you can sit your practical test 🌟 this is what they mean by driving entitlement - the 1st day your license allows you to drive.

So in short your license states you can learn before the 1st October its the old rules.....
Does it state 1st October or after?? Then its the new rules.

✅️ Awesome result from Rihanna today and so we'll deserved ✅️

😬 I would say it was an under statement to say Rihanna was nervous today and it just goes to show if you go in with the correct mind set you will pass no problem 🏆

I will definitley miss our gossip sessions on the road up and down to Cookstown lol but definitley pleased see them R plates ready for the Corsa.

Rhys originally learnt with me last year and between a very long summer holiday and starting Uni his journey took a pause.
