Custom built M32 gearbox for the Vauxhall Astra H VXR. Big bearing upgrade, Wavetrac L*D & fully rebuilt with an unlimited mileage warranty*

Unfortunately the customer's engine blew up on the way to getting this fitted so it is now for sale having never been installed.

You will be buying directly from our customer but we will be able to transfer unlimited mileage warranty to you. Collection is available or we can arrange delivery for an additional fee. Fitting is also available.

Synchronizers or syncros as they are often referred to are an important part of keeping gear changes smooth and quiet. When they wear out or more commonly break, your gearbox will let you know about it! These pictures are from the Ford 1.0 ecoboost and Hyundai/Kia 1.7 CRDi which suffer from the same fault of the "fingers" breaking off. It's important to get them changed as soon as symptoms appear to avoid damage to more expensive components like the selector hubs and gears themselves. We keep both sets in stock and in the case of the Hyundai/Kia box we have uprated ones available

Not just Vauxhalls! Clutch & flywheel replacements as well as gearbox repairs on many makes & models. Last weeks jobs included a Kia/Hyundai gearbox from a Sportage along with a double bearing gearbox removed from a Volkswagen Caddy. To round the week off we carried out a clutch & flywheel replacement on a Ford Mondeo after a hydraulic slave cylinder failure. The clutch was already overdue for replacement!

Since it is a new start to the year I thought I'd best update our page as it's been rather neglected these past 12 months.

We are still keeping busy with our gearbox repairs and focusing on expanding the range of manual boxes that we can repair or rebuild for you all.

We recently built a custom gearbox for Alex Zelenkov's Astra H VXR. This included our big bearing upgrade and Quaife L*D install. It was shipped to him in time for the Northern Ireland Sprint Championship where it came 3rd in class. Only beaten by 2 BMW M'3s, not bad for the Astra!
