Short answer: it depends. Long answer: don’t guess. 🔍
Not every scratch is created equal. A light clear coat scuff? Polish might sort it. But once a scratch breaks through the base coat or hits the primer, buffing it out isn’t the answer — and trying to will only make it worse. The depth of the scratch determines everything: the method, the materials, and whether a respray is the only real fix.
At CSG, we assess every scratch properly before touching it — because the right diagnosis is what separates a lasting repair from a temporary cover-up. No stress. No drama. Just results.
Because guessing is how a small scratch becomes an expensive problem.
