Something we've not posted up in quite some time, the MED 7.5" clutch and flywheel assembly for inline 1275 engines, such as the Sprite and Midget.
As per the Mini range, we go to great lengths to reduce weight from the flywheel to give a huge improvement to acceleration of the car, then dynamically balance the kit within a gram.
The Sprite flywheel is machined from EN8 steel so we can safely reduce its weight to just 3.9kg, attention paid to the outer diameter where this has the most effect.
Combined with a Ford-style clutch cover and larger diameter plate, torque holding is also increased considerably over the standard design, which can often struggle with tuned 1275 engines, especially when used in competition.
