Classic Car Solutions We are based near the Hertfordshire / Bedfordshire border in a converted barn, surrounded by beautiful countryside, which adds to the friendly atmosphere.

Classic Car Solutions has a refreshing, ‘back to basics’ ethos and outlook on the world of classic cars, that offers engine building, restoration, servicing, repairs and various other services. For the team we have created, this is not just a nine to five job – but a full time hobby into which they put all their enthusiasm and undivided attention, to make this the best of experiences for our custo

mers. Thanks to this, we are able to offer our customers unbeatable value for money and service that will not disappoint. Along with the beautiful environment, we have created a fabulous, no-nonsense workshop. Our workshop has the most up-to-date, high tech tools and machinery…all from the 1960s! Our location is less than three miles from Luton Rail Station, Luton Airport and Junction 10 of the M1. The term ‘Classic Car’ does not often go hand in hand with ‘affordable’ or ‘usable’ – but here at Classic Car Solutions we believe that they do! We aim to bring classic cars to the discerning public with reliable, affordable and usable vehicles, which will give the user peace of mind and the maximum amount of enjoyment. Our expertise spans from 1950’s classics to the late 1990’s retro modern classics, although this does not stop us from working on cars outside our comfort zone. We are always eager to gain further knowledge to enable us to keep improving and perfecting our skills. This is something that we at Classic Car Solutions believe in very strongly. We can appreciate leaving a car in the way it left the factory, but can also understand that making subtle improvements or to redesign slightly, may create a more enjoyable, usable classic car for the new owner. We have been flat out over the past few months .. Which is why our social media has been pretty quiet.

Every area of CCS has been flat out recently!
Various engines on the go, like this Porsche 964 engine, trim work has been busy with a vinyl roof repellent on this Mk2 es**rt, welding and fabricating has plenty of projects on the go. The electrical department has been working on the Porsche, installing a new radio and custom sound system. Various classics have come and gone through our servicing department. And finally the paint department is flat out, and one of the ongoing projects is this Jaguar E Type!

Happy new year from everyone at Classic Car Solutions !
We thought we would kick off the year showing the beautiful results from our latest customer restoration.
One of the most well loved cars is the Ford Es**rt.. And this Mk2 1300 L was in need of a lot of love!
The customer wanted to create a car that was the same as his first ever car.
We fully stripped down the car, carried out all of the welding work required, overhauled the brakes, suspension and steering.
Re sealed the engine, fitted an uprated carburettor, exhaust system. Modern electronic ignition.
Carried out all of the bodywork prep and paint, fitted a new vinyl roof and made the car into the customers dream spec.
Finished is Ford Daytona yellow, with a twin black pin stripe, RS alloy wheels, RS spoiler and RS front seats.
It’s so nice to see someone going all out on a more lower end Es**rt model.
A massive well done to the CCS team for getting this car back on the road.

Recently we had this glorious Bentley Mulsanne in the workshop.
We were set the task to fit a new distributor cap, fit new HT leads and to fix an exhaust leak.
Fitting a distributor cap and HT lead set on a car is normally quite straightforward.
But on something like this Bentley, the engine bay is so jam packed, this can be quite fiddly!
Once these parts were fitted, and the exhaust leak was fixed, this Bentley was ready to cruise along!

It is always a messy and long process unpicking a cars structure to remove rust.
This VW T25 is in need of some TLC to make it a solid van again!
But we are making great progress, and little by little this T25 is becoming less rusty.

We finally got to see this awesome looking Volkswagen T25 in all its glory!
We carried out various bits of welding work, removed a few unneeded holes in the side panel, fully stripped down and re painted the whole car.
We also replaced the coolant pipes with a set of upgraded metal items.
The customer took the car back as a painted shell and reassembled it himself.
When he turned back up to show us the finished result we were very impressed!

One of the most iconic 80’s hot hatches came into our workshop for some well needed TLC!
This little Renault 5 Turbo came in with a running issue. The car had a larger turbo charger fitted but the original factory ECU and sensors were not set up correctly for the extra power.
We felt the best route was to fit a modern Maxxi ECU and a bespoke wiring loom made in house. Along side this, we designed our own trigger sensor set up and 3D printed the ECU mount.
After some test driving and some tuning work on the Laptop, this Renault 5 turbo has never driven so well! The car now has more power than before, and the engine is safe from damage.
