Our recovery teams have been busy today - here is just one of the Rtc’s we attended and with a little bit of team work car was able to drive with no further damage.

Nice quick run from Leominster to Hopwood Park Services as part of a recovery leg with a poorly Isuzu going back to Northampton. Now back towards base for the next job. Busy bank holidays!

Another interesting job yesterday

2023 Ford Kuga PHEV in total shutdown, so steering locked, stuck in park and hand brake on. Located behind a dealership, to be taken into storage before going on to a vehicle body shop with electric vehicle capabilities.

Along with the vehicle being in shutdown , access to the vehicle was very limited and at 90 degrees to the truck, so a quick plan made and the dealership told it will take some time with the truck blocking other access, I lifted the front wheels onto skates, placed slippery Jim’s under the back wheels, the winched it out a bit at a time, turning the vehicle as it came out, until it was straight with the truck to load onto the bed.

I always enjoy a challenge like this

Nice little trip out for Bennett’s Vehicle services to collect a poorly 12t DAF from between Banbury and Oxford and recover it back to Lyonshall
