🎉 ZERO DRIVING FAULTS! 🎉

A massive congratulations to Jess, who passed her driving test today with a completely faultless drive! 👏🚗

0 driving faults. Perfect drive. An incredible result and thoroughly deserved after all the work she’s put in.

She also handled the added pressure of having an observer in the car brilliantly and stayed calm, composed and focused throughout.

Thank you for choosing Driversity, Jess. It’s been a pleasure helping you get to this point.

Enjoy the freedom, drive safe, and congratulations again! 🧡

Most people think “appropriate speed” means driving below the speed limit.

In reality, it’s about driving at a speed that gives you enough time to react to what you can see…

…and especially what you can’t.

Parked vehicles, bends, junctions and blind spots all reduce the information available to you.

The less information you have, the more time and space you need.

Appropriate speed isn’t just about road conditions.

It’s about visibility.

One of the hardest skills to develop as a driver isn’t spotting what’s happening…

It’s recognising what might happen next.

In this clip, the space was there.

The certainty to commit wasn’t.

A good example of how vehicle positioning can influence decision-making long before a hazard fully develops.

🚲 Would YOU score 5/5 here? 👀

Most hazard perception clips focus on what’s happening ahead.

This one starts behind us.

Pause the clip and score yourself from 5️⃣ to 0️⃣ before the danger fully develops.

Good hazard perception is about spotting changes early — wherever they happen.

Would you have spotted this developing hazard in time? 👀

Pause the clip and score yourself from 5️⃣ to 0️⃣ before the danger fully develops.

Real-world hazard perception is about recognising risk EARLY — not reacting late.

🚗 Hazard perception challenge 👀

Would YOU score 5/5 here?

The lead vehicle will always have the better visibility ahead during an overtake.

Good anticipation also means recognising when to back out safely.
