What a crazy few months it’s been! 🙌

The workload has been absolutely non-stop, and we’ve had an abundance of wheels coming through the doors. Somehow we’ve kept them flowing and got through it all! 😅

I genuinely can’t thank everyone enough for choosing TH Wheel Refurbishment and trusting us with your wheels. Whether you’re a new customer, someone who’s used us before, or one of the local businesses that continues to support us – every single job is massively appreciated. ❤️

Even today, on a Bank Holiday, we’ve been in the workshop getting ahead and making sure everything is on track for another busy week.

That being said… I think a break is definitely overdue! 😂☀️

We’ll be closing the doors from Friday and reopening on the 21st of September while we take a well-needed holiday and recharge the batteries.

The work phone will be switched off during this time, but I’ll still do my best to reply to messages and enquiries when I get a chance – so please bear with me if replies take a little longer than usual.

Then it’ll be back to it, refreshed and ready for another busy run! 💪

Once again, a massive THANK YOU to everyone who continues to recommend us, share our work and, most importantly, trust us with your wheels.

Holiday Notice ☀️✈️

After a very busy few months, it’s time for a well-earned break to recharge the batteries.

Our doors will be closed for the next week while we’re away on holiday. The phone will be switched off, but I’ll do my best to reply to any messages and enquiries as soon as I can.

A huge thank you to everyone for your continued support and for keeping us so busy – it’s massively appreciated. We look forward to getting back in the workshop refreshed and ready to get stuck back in.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, but that’s only because we’ve been flat out in the workshop! 🔧🥵

The recent heat certainly hasn’t made things any easier, especially with the ovens running all day, but we’re still here keeping the wheels flowing and making sure every job leaves to the highest standard.

What a week it’s been 🔧🔥🥵

The hot weather certainly hasn’t helped with the workshop temperatures, especially with the ovens running all day, but we’ve kept pushing through and turning out work to the highest standard.

We’re extremely busy at the moment, and every set has gone out on time with the same attention to detail and quality that we pride ourselves on 👌

If you’ve sent a message and I haven’t got back to you yet, I can only apologise. I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I get a chance.

A couple of diamond cut sets completed today 🔧✨

First up, a set of Ford Fiesta wheels that came in as a grey diamond cut finish. The customer opted for a gloss black diamond cut refurbishment this time around, and honestly, the darker base colour completely transforms them 👌🔥

Also through the workshop today, a set of Mercedes Turbine wheels finished in anthracite and diamond cut, bringing them back to a sharp, factory-fresh finish.

As part of our ongoing commitment to quality, we’ve now added an anti-corrosion barrier coat to our diamond cut process before the final clearcoat stage. This helps improve adhesion and provides an extra layer of protection against the corrosion that diamond cut wheels are unfortunately well known for.

It’s all about giving our customers the best finish possible, whilst helping to keep their wheels looking their best for longer 👊

A real blast from the past this week 🔧🔥

This set of Golf VR6 alloys are around 30 years old and true survivor wheels.

The customer wanted to retain the original OEM look, so the goal wasn’t to change them — it was to restore them properly and bring them back to their former glory 👌

They arrived with some heavy corrosion, but that didn’t stop us. Using quality products, proper preparation, and plenty of attention to detail, we set to work on bringing them back to life.

And just look at the result 😮‍🔥

It’s always satisfying saving a set of wheels with a bit of history behind them rather than seeing them replaced.

Back looking how they should and ready for many more years on the road.

Been a bit quiet on social media recently as we’ve been extremely busy in the workshop 🔧🔥

Here’s a set of Golf GTI Mk7.5 diamond cut alloy wheels completed from start to finish — no corners cut, just proper workmanship throughout the process 👌

These wheels were not only precision cut on the CNC lathe, but also treated with a coat of KSL anti-corrosion lacquer before the final acrylic clearcoat application.

This helps improve adhesion and adds extra protection to the diamond cut finish against corrosion, keeping the wheels looking fresher for longer ✨
