So whilst trying to play catch up on customers campers we have been burning the midnight oil.

Yes the progress on the is nearing completion.
What a transformation.
Out with them old horrible high top windows & in with something more modern.
All small rusty bits taken care of.
A few panels replaced but not major.
All sanded back & treated.
Several different coats of primer & sanding.
Then a lick of paint.
It needs to be completely finished by May 15th for its maiden voyage to Scotland.

Who likes to see a nice rebuilt diesel pump.
Itโ€™s nice to see this going back in a customers t25 Westy. It gave way on the way to Dorset ruining the customers holiday. He will soon be back on the road to enjoy again.

Front area rust all cut out & replaced with a new panel & some other new sections.
The panel will not have the black paint left on it as this is only transport paint, itโ€™s just been left on until prep time & then itโ€™s all sanded back to bare metal.
Whilst dash was out the fan unit was also replaced.
Last panel is the rear right side panel then prep for paint.
Saving one at a time is what we doโ€ฆ.

Recent fit out for updated electrics in a really nice customers westfalia.
These have to be shoe horned in literally.
We also fitted a 180w solar panel so the batteryโ€™s can have a constant trickle.
The customer now has 210ah instead of the poor old 85ah along with a nice new Victron dc-dc charger.

Hardly no drive & reverse none existent.
Looking at the sludge you can see why.
Yes we rebuild auto boxesโ€ฆ.

Well we said we wasnโ€™t going to show it but look at the wiring linking the leisure battery & main battery ๐Ÿ˜ณ about 0.25mm.
No fuses or protection of any kind.
And to think a garage did this for a customer.
Be careful out there guys.
